Self-Gripping PVC Straps In Stock at SPS

SPS is pleased to announce Proteor’s Self-Gripping PVC Straps which have taken Europe by storm are now in stock and available at SPS.

The Self-Gripping Straps are made of polyvinylchloride (PVC) and utilize ultrasound to bind the Velcro® closure to yield highly durable closure mechanism. Patients have no risk of allergic reaction because there is no glue used in the fabrication process. The PVC straps are washable using regular mild soap and lukewarm water.

The precut pattern of the Self-Gripping Straps allows customization to the desired length using a pair of scissors. Straps are shipped complete with a loop fitted to the stationary piece and a long strap with Velcro beneath to complete attachment. The reinforced PVC ensures the straps will not stretch or curl along the edges as often happens when using Velcro alone. Reinforced rivet holes provide easy fabrication on any Orthopedic device.

Applicable for use on devices such as AFO, KAFO, Body Jackets, Corsets, seating devices, standing devices, arm and shoulder orthosis, cranial orthosis and more. Self-Gripping Straps are available in white or black in 1" and 1.5" widths.
