Mud in your eye can be bad, but Mud in your knee can be a disaster! With the Aulie knee, from SPS, neither dust, dirt, water or mud presents a problem for active above knee amputees.
Designed for the harshest environments, the 802 Nylon Knee has been designed for low maintenance and high durability. Machined from extruded Nylon 6/6, an extremely tough thermoplastic, the Aulie knee is applicable for body weights up to 220 pounds. Shafts are manufactured of large diameter stainless steel, while bearing surfaces are precision-machined into the nylon structure. These design features assure the Aulie knee will function well when exposed to salt water, mud or even sand.
The patented hydraulic control on the Aulie knee is adjustable, lightweight and simple to use. The Aulie knee features a standard proximal pyramid and a 30mm tube distal receiver. Weighing only 1.6 pounds, the Aulie knee is the lightest hydraulic knee available.
