The waterproof and lightweight Air-Lock and Small Air-Lock are ideal for single lamination fabrications and applicable for amputees of all activity levels. The Acytel pin construction is a self-lubricating material that does not wear with friction or rubbing, making it a durable and long lasting pin. A steel set-screw extends almost completely through the pin to prevent breakage. The completely replaceable locking mechanisms are easy to engage.
The presence of the air valve in the Air-Lock and Small Air-Lock creates a suction socket once the lock is vacuum formed or laminated. The Fast Four Connector allows for easy use in either a test socket or in a definitive socket.
The Air-Lock is rated to 120kg in laminated sockets and 100kg in definitive thermoformed sockets. The Small Air-Lock is rated to 100kg in laminated sockets.
