US distributor for the medipro® Sensitive Liner
and is excited to introduce this remarkable product to the
O&P community in the United States. While the US market
clearly has a wide selection of liners available, it does
not have a liner that has the unique attributes of the medipro
Sensitive. This liner boasts the following exclusive properties:
- Removable pin adjustment that allows the liner to be used with a locking pin or as a cushion liner depending on amputee need and preference. Protective cap included with each liner to replace pin socket as desired.
- Integral knitted matrix precludes length traction and improves radial stretching. Available in 5cm or 10cm length.
- Soft, knitted umbrella prevents ripping and premature wear on the distal edge
- Imbeded cover decreases edge separation and tearing, as well as skin trauma and irritation
- Thicker distal wall to provide added comfort.
Part
of the uniqueness of the Sensitive liner lies in its ability
to assure minimal bridging between the silicone inner surface
and the reinforced matrix. The resulting smooth uniform
transition of matrix to inner surface assures less skin
irritation and longer life. Rather than apply a cover to
the silicone lining as so many manufacturers have, the Sensitive
liner is imbedded in the silicone surface to assure durability
and resistance to runs. Included in every package of the
Sensitive liner is a proprietary adhesive to quickly repair
punctures of the cover should they occur. Internal taper
dimensions are identical to the Iceross® Comfort liner
and thus are completely interchangeable.
