HCPCS Code has been issued for WalkAide
Alpharetta, Ga — GREAT NEWS! If you have been waiting for a code to be issued to learn more about WalkAide or become a trained WalkAide Clinician, now is the time to act!
Effective on dates of service on or after January 1, 2009, the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) issued a new HCPCS code to describe WalkAide. The new code for the WalkAide is:
E0770 - Functional electrical stimulator, transcutaneous stimulation of nerve and/or muscle groups, any type, complete system, not otherwise specified.
Now you need to be trained! SPS is currently registering individuals for WalkAide courses in several locations around the country. Below is a schedule of courses currently available:
