KiddieGAIT on the shelves at SPS

ALPHARETTA, GA — The long awaited pediatric addition to the ToeOFF family, KiddieGAIT, is now available at all four SPS Distribution Centers - Atlanta, Dallas, Middletown and Paso Robles, CA.

The KiddieGAIT, manufactured by Allard USA, has been specifically designed to manage the dynamic muscle tone and top-down spasticity driven forces often seen in the pediatric population. The carbon composite anterior shell, lateral strut and engineered footplate with open calcaneus allow customization of the frame into a ground-reaction AFO or a partial foot prosthesis. The energy-reflecting properties of the system reduce the amount of energy required to lift and move the foot forward.

KiddieGAIT is designed to allow integration with your custom foot orthotic, UCB or SMO. The anterior shell design triggers enhanced proprioceptive response and assists in the management of proximal deficits by helping to overcome either knee hyperextension or crouch gait. Functional environments can be created that supplement gait function instead of immobilizing and inhibiting function.
