NEW MEDIPRO® PROTECT LINER AVAILABLE FROM SPS

Ga - Extending the selection of medipro liners available
to meet the needs of US amputees, SPS is pleased to announce the
exclusive US distribution of the medipro® PROTECT Liner. The
Protect liner has an osmotic membrane which facilitates uni-directional
flow of Medi's proprietary emulsion toward the skin's surface.
The semi-permeable membrane assures a soothing, soft interface
specially formulated for users with conical limb shapes, less
soft tissue distally and highly sensitive skin. Medi's proprietary
emulsion results in less skin friction for easier donning/doffing
and has demonstrated significant skin improvement within 3 days*.
The internal taper dimensions of the PROTECT liners are identical
to the Iceross( Dermo 3mm and Iceross Comfort liners and thus
are completely interchangeable.
This liner is designed with the following exclusive properties:
- Removable pin adjustment that allows the liner to be used with a locking pin or as a cushion liner depending on amputee need and preference. A protective cap is included with each liner to replace the pin socket as desired.
- Integral knitted matrix precludes length traction and improves radial stretching. Available in 10cm length.
- Soft, knitted umbrella prevents ripping and premature wear on the distal edge
- Imbeded cover decreases edge separation and tearing, as well as skin trauma and irritation
- Thicker distal wall to provide added comfort.
- 30-Day trial period and limited 6-month warranty from date of order placement.
Like the medi Sensitive and Soft liners, the medi Protect liner is designed with a sinusoidal wave pattern at the upper edge to increase stretch, easing donning and doffing. The medipro Trimming Tool (Part Number 1950006) is available to maintain the sinusoidal pattern when trimming any of the medipro liners becomes necessary. The Trimming Tool should be replaced every 12-18 months to assure sharpness of the blades and integrity of the cover to resist runs during stretching.
