Designed for the active amputee, SPS announces availability of the latest innovation in hydraulic knees - the Mercury Knee, manufactured by Endolite.
The Mercury Knee features the exclusive AirSENTRYTM system, a complete demarcation from traditional hydraulic knee design and operation. The New Hydraulic system from CaTech is a revolutionary air management system that prevents air intrusion into the hydraulic cylinder for quiet operation. Spring extension assistance helps to insure that the limb is extended at heel strike. Needle roller bearings provide smooth, long-term reliability and increased durability. Separate flexion and extension dials allow easier and more accurate adjustability, more control and refined movement.
The Mercury Knee frame and chassis is the strongest carbon fiber frame system in the industry. The new frame design was developed utilizing the most advanced methodologies in graphite design to reinforce stress points and significantly elongate the life cycle of the product.
