is pleased to announce the exclusive availability of the New V.I.V.A.
Sleeve™ from Alps.
The V.IV.A. sleeve provides the extraordinary combination of one-way valve evacuation in a vacuum suspension sleeve. This unique application removes the hassles of fabricating a one-way value into the socket while providing all of the benefits of valve suction. The durable suspension sleeve is available in 6mm and 3mm thicknesses.
The
V.I.V.A. sleeve is joined by the soft ALPS Thermoliner as the
latest innovations from ALPS. The ALPS Thermoliner makes it possible
for a prosthetist to customize and shape a Gel interface to the
specific residual limb configuration of the amputee. Simple application
of the Thermoliner™ Locking Liner over the positive cast
and placement in an oven, set at 194cF or 90oC for 30 minutes
completes the customization process. The customizable Alps Thermoliner
meets the requirements of the new K codes for silicone liners
released on October 1, 2002 by HCFA and is the perfect solution
for amputees with difficult shapes.
Thermoliners
are available in either Soft or Firm gels. The soft gel is indicated
for BK’s and or bony AK’s (larger sizes are available
for AKs). The Firm gel is indicated specifically for AK’s
or individuals with redundant tissue on the residual limb. The
Thermoliner is available in locking and non-locking styles.
