SPS introduces OP4 knee from Medipro

SPS is pleased to announce the immediate availability of yet another innovative prosthetic knee from Medipro of Germany: the OP4.

A few of the exciting products you will find in this catalog includes:

Improving upon the design of the popular OP3 knee, the OP4 is Single Axis Pneumatic Weight-Activated Locking Knee. The OP4 provides the same pneumatic swing phase control in a single-axis design of the OP3, but in a new lighter material. The streamlined design couples the attributes of safety and stability with the fluid motion and smooth gait produced by a pneumatically controlled knee.

  • Made of a proprietary alloy formulation, OP4 is very lightweight (only 635 grams), yet strong enough for community ambulators weighing up to 220 lbs
  • Independent adjustment of pneumatic flexion and extension resistances
  • Low profile design places measurement of knee center to proximal attachment at 1 1/8"; Knee center to top of pyramid is 1 ¾"
  • Distal Adapter (30mm) alleviates need for a tube clamp adapter
