- AliMed(R) Blue Carrot Hand Orthosis Kit solves the toughest hand contracture problems while inhibiting microbial growth on carrot's surface. The Carrot's soft covering is permanently impregnated with Agion(R) antimicrobial odor control. Simply slide the carrot's thin wand through the patient's hand and then pull the carrot through&mdashmuch less painful when compared to anxiety-producing splint placement. Labeled with numbers, making documentation standardized and easy. Filled with tiny plastic microspheres that are highly conforming and resilient so the orthosis won't increase spasticity. One size. 9"L 5-1/2" maximum circumference &bull Cotton cover impregnated with silver ion layer &bull Hand wash in cold water and air dry. Suggested code: L3923.
