Who Can Benefit?

Outcomes:
The Hanger Institute for Clinical Research & Education conducted a prospective study on the Agilik™ externally powered pediatric MPKAFO over three months following structured in‑clinic training.
Sixteen children ages 6–16 with flexed‑knee gait were enrolled; 13 completed the study.
Key Outcomes Include:
- Improved gait quality (higher Observational Gait Scale scores)
- Statistically significant gains in health‑related quality of life (EQ‑5D‑Y‑3L)
- Parent‑reported improvements such as fewer trips, falls, and foot drag
- No significant changes in performance‑based walking measures, suggesting an early adaptation period
