Indications
- Nonoperative treatment of closed humeral shaft fractures
- Postoperative treatment of open humeral shaft fractures
- Protection of humeral defects
- After removal of internal or external fixation
- Post biopsy
- Defects resulting from tumor growth
- Adjunct to internal fixation such as unreamed intermedulary nails
