- AliMed(R) Foam Economy Cushions are basic foam seat cushions that can be used on a wheelchair or bedside chair to improve comfort and sitting tolerance. They are typically made of soft, spongy foam - similar to upholstered furniture - and are recommended for any user without skin integrity issues. 17" x 16". Choose 2" or 3" thick. 12 per case. Choice of covers: Skin Friendly Cloth Covers are cool and comfortable against the skin. They are a polyester cotton blend that is versatile, because it retains the coolness and lightness of the cotton fiber, but also adds the strength, durability and wrinkle-resistance of polyester. These covers are zippered and removable for laundering and will withstand numerous washings. Cover does not come with ties. Navy. Fluid-Proof Brushed Flocked Covers are flocked with a velvety feel that is soft against the skin. The urethane inner coating and heat sealed seams are fluid proof to protect the cushion from incontinence. This cover offers excellent durability for long term or heavy facility use. Rear safety ties secure the cushion to upright supports for added security and fall protection. Cover is not removable. Wipe clean easily and quickly with any standard disinfectant.
