NEXO Transradial Kits and Socket Rings Sizing:
- To select the appropriate socket attachment ring, measure the circumference 1 – 2 in. from the distal end of the patient model.
- If a soft interface is to be used, add 2 times the thickness of the interface to the indicated ring diameter.
Example: If the limb measures 6-3/8 in. in circumference, select the 2 in. diameter ring. If a 1/8 in. thick flexible liner will be used, add 1/4 in. to the ring diameter for proper fit. In this case the 2-1/4 in. diameter ring will be selected instead.
