What does it mean to be more than a distributor? With 20+ years of O&P patient care and professional experience, Sam Brouillette, CP, CFo, plays an integral role in helping SPS customers to extend their patient care teams.

Sam Brouillette, CP, CFo 

Sam knows the benefit of a strong knowledgebase. He began his prosthetics career with an O&P care provider that expanded from one main site to nine full-service care facilities in just 18 years. “During that time, we partnered with SPS because of the dedication they showed in helping us grow from a small company to a strong regional force,” Brouillette says. “Seeing and living SPS’ commitment to customer service, product selection, ongoing help with education and training, and inventory management, I also was able to grow in my understanding of the prosthetic and orthotic industry.”

As a member of the SPS Clinical and Technical Services team, Brouillette now applies his 20-plus years of O&P experience to the education of fellow O&P professionals. He trains clinicians on topics ranging from new technology to coding and justification issues. He also coaches SPS sales and customer service teams on product knowledge and provides field knowledge to the SPS management team and vendor partners. “Lending them my experience and knowledge allows them to better serve, understand, and give value to the people they come in contact with every day."
