DOWNHILL RACER SKI TD

The DH Racer features a unique Snap-In and Pop-Out pole action for safety and convenience. It has a pre-flexed pole angle for ensuring that the basket clears the snow yet provides enough angle and energy for launching out of the gate. It is extremely light-weight at only 4 oz. (114 gm) and is about 3.3 in. (8.4 cm. ) long.The Downhill Racer is molded of solid but FLEXIBLE, high performance polyurethane and is designed to fit 5/8 inch.( 1.6 cm) diameter poles. However, the system is modifiable for other equipment and TRS provides a “modifiable” adapter for accommodating alternative pole sizes-diameters. Multiple flexibilities are available to meet specific age, weight and performance criteria and TRS will build one to meet your individual needs to ensure you get the best performance. The basic color is BLACK but custom colors are available for an extra fee.

A rubber Press-on pole cap is included for protection because the normal ski pole grip is removed and the pole length may need to be modified for optimum performance.

The Racer was primarily designed for Alpine (downhill) activity but has been successfully applied to Nordic (cross-country) skiing and is also applicable to mountaineering and hiking-climbing poles/sticks for use in the summer and other seasons.
