SPS O&P Master's Scholarship

 

2026 Scholarship Information: 

Two full-time O&P Master’s students will each be awarded a $2,500 one-year scholarship based on essay submission and academic achievement. This scholarship is designed to support individuals whose focus of study is in the O&P industry. See the application requirements and qualifications below.

 

Essay:
The essay portion of the application must be 2 pages in length and address the following topics:

  •  Why have you decided to pursue a career in O&P?
  •  What personal experiences, perspectives, or qualities set you apart, and how will they shape your contributions to the O&P field? 

 

Qualifications:
To be considered for an award, student applicants must meet the following criteria:

  •  Be accepted or enrolled in an accredited O&P Master’s degree program
  •  Reside within the U.S.
  •  Have proven leadership qualities
  •  Maintain a GPA minimum of 3.0

 

Guidelines:

  • Only one scholarship will be awarded per individual.
  • Scholarships are not renewable.
  • Previous scholarship award recipients may not re-apply.
  • Recipients will be announced in March 2026. All applicants will be notified of results.
