H Series K2 - K3 Foot
Flexibility and resiliency of the “H” feet are determined by utilizing the same structural modifications as the “K” feet with the addition of a vertical axis torque absorber that functions independently of dorsi-flexion and forefoot rotation. The torque absorber incorporates patent pending ball and socket joint with adjacent radial bearing and is integrated into the molded thermoplastic keel along with the ankle adapter and ankle. Integrated torque absorbers are available in soft, medium and firm.
H2U “H SERIES”
Dycor’s “H Series” H2U prosthetic foot is suitable for moderate low and moderate impact unassisted and assisted ADLs and unassisted transfers. For bilateral unassisted transfer, the H2U should be used in conjunction with a H2A (assisted ADL) “K Series” foot (dominate side).
H2A “H SERIES”
Dycor’s “H Series” H2A foot is suitable for moderately and moderately high unassisted and assisted uni and bilateral ADLs.Similar to the “H Series” H2U feet, the “H Series” H2A foot is extremely light and durable. The “H Series” H2A relies on plantar flexion bumper compression and dorsi-deflection of the semi rigid thermoplastic keel.
H3U “H SERIES"
Dycor’s “H Series” H3U is suitable for moderately high impact unassisted ADLs. This foot relies on plantar compression of rubber bumpers and dorsi-deflection of a semi-flexible keel. This combination provides an ideal platform for clients that prefer resiliency, durability and lightness for both uni-lateral and bi-lateral unassisted ADL.
Applicable L Codes for an H2U foot (limited assisted ambulation and unassisted transfers) is L5972 and L5984. H2A feet (assisted ambulation) L5976 and L5984. H3U feet (unassisted ambulation) L5981 and L5984.
