Protect BK Cushion Liner
This is a soft silicone liner that is particularly suitable for below knee (trans-tibial) amputees up to mobility class 3 with reduced soft tissue coverage and poor skin condition. It contains a medical grade oil with vitamin E, which helps improve the skin condition and reduces adhesion and thereby, the risk of tissue damage. The extra wall thickness of this liner provides very good cushioning and high comfort. An outer textured cover allows the liner to be fitted and removed easily without the need for time consuming sprays. Used with a sleeve and valve suction system, it is ideal for those patients who require more positive socket retention than can be achieved with a pin liner, but also require the tissue care that Protect provides.
