Product Overview
The main benefit of a shock/torsion reducing pylon is that it simulates the rotation and shock absorption of the natural limb during stance phase. All lower limb amputees benefit from shock/rotation reduction, especially transfemoral users, who require greater motion damping at heel strike since the knee and ankle are not present. Beneficial for everyday use, shock/torsion reduction is most noticeable during activities such as gardening, hiking, tennis, or golf.
